Schemes
For effective implementation of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, a centrally sponsored "Integrated Child Protection Scheme" is being implemented for welfare and upliftment of children in need of care, protection and rehabilitation and children in conflict with law. Under this scheme, free services of food, clothing, beddings, medical and education etc. are provided to the children as per minimum standard in terms of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model Rules, 2016. Foster care and after care services are importance components of the scheme. This scheme also provides for re-habilitation and re-integration of such children into society by way of their skill up-gradation, adoption etc. To supplement this scheme, the State Government has started "Mukhya Mantri Bal Udhar Yojana".
