State Level Sports & Cultural Meet 2016 Was organized at Balika Ashram Tutikandi, Shimla from 14-16 November, 2016. in this event 358 children from Govt.& NGOs run Children homes participated.

Exposure Visits and Activities

20 children from Bal Ashram Sujanpur were taken on educational tour to heritage village Garli(Pragpur) District Kangra on 24-Oct-2017. 37 children(Girls) from Balika Ashram Garli(Pragpur) were also taken to Sujanpur Fort on 22-10-2017.

Cradle Baby Reception Centers

Cradle baby reception centers have been setup at Kamala Nehru Hospital Shimla, DDU Zonal Hospital Shimla, Zonal Hospital Kullu, District Hospital Recongpeo(Kinnaur), Mandi, Solan, Dharamshala, Una and CHC Ghumarwin(Bilaspur) to rescue the abandoned children and look after them with due care and affection till she/He is given in adoption.

Two days Sensitization programmes and mock drills regarding Disastter Management were organised in all CCIs being run by the Directrote of Women and child development for employees and children of these intitutions about precautions to be taken during and after any situation of emergency arising out of fire, earthquake and flood etc. in the month of september and october 2017.
